  • Biographical Statement

Candie A. Price graduated magna cum laude and with University Honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.A. in Public Relations.  She is the Editor-in-Chief/Publisher of WOW! Magazine and author of three books. Candie has been the guest of several radio programs across the country, including The Jesse Peterson Show (California) What's the 411 with Sharon Kay (Fisk University, Nashville, TN) and more.  Candie has also been featured in The Birmingham News, ABC 32 (Montgomery, AL), and several websites promoting her work.  Candie is currently pursuing a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. Her husband, Rev. Arthur Price, Jr., is the pastor of the historic Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL where they reside with their two teen aged daughters.
